Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Tennessee
Dentist
A dentist hit the nerve in my co-workers mouth when she went in for a filling, she has now been numb on one side of her mouth for 3 days, the dentist is saying she could be numb for up to 6 mos. and all he can do is give her a steroid. But the worst thing is that when she was at the dentist he apparently knew he hit the nerve but never said anything until she called today.

Re: Dentist
If this dental mishap occurred in Tennesse, a Tennesse attorney who is knowledgeable regarding that state's
medical malpractice laws should evaluate, among other things, whether
the treatment you received fell below the acceptable standard of care then prevailing in the community (where it was administered) at that time.
