Awol
What if you know someone who went AWOL from the Marines around 33 years ago? Would the Marine still be looking for them today?

Re: Awol
If a person is absent without authorization from the Marines, it is likely there is a warrant for his or her arrest.
As a prosecutor and defense counsel for the Marines we would occasionally see the return of a "long term" person. I think the longest I had seen was in 2000, when a fellow who left in 1972 was picked up at an airport attempting to enter from Canada.
The warrant will not expire.
