Legal Question in Personal Injury in Tennessee
My 16 yr old son had a car accident and we had no insurance...
Our insurance expired at the end of Feb. The accident was most likely his fault. It totaled our car but not much damage to the other one. It happened 2 days ago and the girls insurance company called yesterday while I was out. She wants the name of our insurance company. What do I do? She I talk to her company and can we ask for more than one estimate, do we get to see the estimate? Oh please help. Should we get a lawyer? We are in the process of obtaining insurance. To our knowledge no one was injured.

You indicate that the other driver is most likely at fault. That is not a very clear statement when it comes to whose fault caused the accident. Having been contacted by an insurance adjuster, you should contact a lawyer immediately in order that the lawyer can evaluate the facts of your case and then discuss those facts with the insurance adjuster.
