Legal Question in Personal Injury in Tennessee

dogs

I have two dogs who are very gentle and

docile. One is about a year old and

barks a little bit. This definitely NOT

nuisance barking. My lot is about a fifth

of an acre and I have a fenced in yard. I

never let him stay outside after 8:00 at

night. My next door neighbor continues

to call, (even leaving messages marked

urgent) and coming to my door

complaining threatening that something

must be done. The other day I had two

piano students come to my door. He

met them out in my yard and asked

them what they were doing here. He has

asked me what I'm going to do about

the dog poop in my yard which is

almost nonexistant because of the kind

of dogfood I use. I am a single mom

who just suffered a near fatal stroke in

May of last year. The neighbors are

aware of this. This stress is having a

negative effect on my health. I want to

be a good neighbor and I know when a

dog can be a nuisance, but most of the

time I can't even hear him barking and

he's in my yard. I purchased a 100

dollar citronella bark collar so now he

hardly barks at all. They are still

complaining. They have no kids, no

pets and no jobs and obviously no life.

Thank you for taking my question.

Re: dogs

If the dog is no longer barking, the nuisance problem has abated. I would have one or two witnesses spend the day with you so that you can verify from one or more sources that the dog is no longer barking.
