Legal Question in Personal Injury in Tennessee

what can we do ?

Hello.without going into detail,my daughter was shot in the arm accidently in Jan.1999 by accident-or so were told by her boyfriend ,as of yet the boys mother -no father in the home and no one has a job,has not offered any financial help and the med. cost have really rissen,can we sue her home owners ins? they live in a fairly new mobile home,there were no adults in the home when this occured,they were left alone,the boy is 15yrs old-my daughter is 17. Thank you.
