Legal Question in Personal Injury in Tennessee

Hurniated disc injury on the job.

I was hurt on the job on oct. 4th, 2007. I have been off work since. I finally received benifits paying me through 11/11. I had an MRI that showed a hurniation of l4 & l5 in oct. The doctor wanted me to have a milogram but the would not approve it. Therefore he released me, sending me back to work. He stated that I would need a second opinion in his report. I went back to work and could not do it, therefore my employment told me to go home and the insurance company would assign me another Dr..This was on 11/5. This is 12/8 and I have not been assigned another Dr., and the insurance company has not payed me any further benifits. They also will not respond to my lawyer, which now has gotten the Dep. of Labor involved. I am in severe pain and have been to the emergency room 4 times. What can I expect?
