Legal Question in Personal Injury in Tennessee

I lived in a rental house, for 1 &half yrs made me extremely sick, had to hire enviromentalist, to figure out why, I was getting sick; was 300.00 they said; house, was full of mold & mildew!! We had a 2 yr. lease but; we finally had to leave there in Dec. 09' we felt that we, would go ahead & move, because, she never kept place, up to standards!! If I retain a lawyer; to file a suit; how much should I ask for?? And do you think, I would have a chance to get damages?? What exactly do I need to do???THANKS!!!

The answer of how much to ask for is not simple. In mold cases, there are a number of factors to consider when deciding on the amount to ask for. The length of exposure to the mold, the cost of healthcare due to the mold and what steps your landlord made to resolve the issue are a few of the factors to consider.
