Legal Question in Personal Injury in Tennessee

My parents were involved in an accident 777 days ago with a FED EX truck at fault. They both sustained serious injuries and have to go through surgeries and extensive re-hab. I am getting angry due to the fact that no one from FED EX has contacted any of us to as much as check on my parents. Just wanting some advice on whether or not we should go ahead and contact a good lawyer or what to do?? A fractured hip , two broken wrist , a broken hand , ribs , and a foot that is gonna require multiple surgeries are the injuries.
