amount of time to move out

my wife and I were going thru the buying process. the realtor told us we could move in before closing because all was fine. the day of closing we were told it didn't go thru and we had 48 hours to vacate. the power, gas, cable, water is already in my name.

Sounds like you have a case against your realtor; also, depending on why the closing didn't happen, you may have a case against the seller for breach of contract.
