Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Tennessee
I sent merchandise to a person on the internet and have in writing agreement to pay for merchandise. He then stop correspondence and closed his business website and all known communication except the address I sent the merchandise to. I tracked him down on the internet and asked to receive my merchandise of money. He ignored me. I then tried to ask his wife.He then threatened me if I continued he would take any necessary actions and actually harm me. He then explained that his computer skills were vastly more than mine and I would be sorry. He said I was stalking him. Is trying communication to retrieve merchandise or money loss stalking? I lost money for shipping and the depreciation of merchandise for the time to maybe retrieve it? Also he lives in another state.

No, it is not stalking if you are attempting to enforce a contract for the sale of goods. If you sent merchandise pursuant to a sales agreement and the "buyer" is refusing to pay, you have the right to seek either payment or return of the merchandise.
