Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Tennessee

Notarizing a quitclaim deed

I want to quitclaim some ''time Share'' property to my son. I live in Florida. The property is deeded in Tennessee. I have purchase the form on the Internet. It requires a Notary to verify my signature. Can I use a Notary in Florida or must the Quitclaim Deed be notarized in Tennessee? The later would be a great hardship.

Re: Notarizing a quitclaim deed

Notary in FL will be fine. You might ask the Notary to print his or her name out in addition to signing the deed.
