Property with a Restriction

If you purchase property at a sale that has a Restriction stating that no single wide trailors can be placed on the land and you sale the property to someone else, does the restriction stay with the property forever or can it be removed through sales?

Re: Property with a Restriction

Real Estate transfers are language and document specific. Without knowing any additional substance to your question, I will say that as a general rule, you cannot remove a restrictive covenant that runs with the land by simply selling the property, but again, property alienation is a unique situation and requires a close examination of the language of the restriction.
