Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Tennessee

quit claim deed

My mother in-law wants to put her home in our name, we live in IL & she lives in TN. How do we go about doing a quit claim? Can it be done with out us being in TN?

You wouldn't need to be in TN, but I would highly recommend having your mother in law hire an attorney in her county familiar with real estate law.
