Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Tennessee

Recently divorced, x-husband kept the house. he has now less than a month since the divorce was final and the house is now in foreclosure. i have signed the quick deed and mailed to his lawyer. what financial and legal responsibility am i obligated too?

Your financial relationship with the lender on the home was not altered by your divorce unless they signed an agreement modifying your rights/obligations. (That does not often happen.)

So, you may have a claim against your ex-husband if the bank asserts a claim against you.
