I am trying to sell a timeshare and have been told I need a title search and Estoppel Letter. Is this something I can do on my on, and if so, how would I proceed?

Re: Selling Timeshare
Unfortunately, the title search will need to be performed by an entity with a large errors and omissions insurance policy.
Contact a title insurance comapny in the city where your timeshare is located to help you with the search. The national companies are First American Title Insurance Company, Stewart Title Insurance Company and Chicago Title Insurance Company.
I would also ask them to provide you with a form for the estoppel letter. The company that you are listing the timeshare with should also have a form estoppel letter for you.
