Re: dress

Probably not. If there is a dress code for some employees, but not for others doing the same work, this sounds like a case of discrimination. But if the dress code applies to all employees doing a particular kind of work, there doesn't seem to be any discrimination. For example: If employees dealing with the public are required to dress in a certain way while employees not seen by the public have no dress code, this is probably for a valid reason. Some employees may have a dress code for safety reasons which don't apply to other employees doing a different job. A very obvious example would be a fire department, which would require fire fighters to wear protective clothing and uniforms which identify them to the public, while a dispatcher or other office worker would have no need for the protective clothing or, maybe, the uniform.
