Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee

Cousins want to sell farm

My grandmother died and left her farm to her three daughters. My mothers sister died and soon afterwards her husband passed away. Her kids are wanting the farm sold and thier money from the sale. They have offered to sell their part to my mother and other aunt but at a price they came just came up with that is quite larger than the amount the farm has been appraised for. My mom and aunt want to keep the farm but they do not wish to pay the high price. Can they force them to sell or hold them up for the unfair price?

Re: Cousins want to sell farm

In some cases, the court's will partition or divide the land if the parties can't agree.
