Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee

Death of a single man unmarried no children w/o a will

My uncle died leaving a house with a large amount of cash in

it and leaving a truck and mortgage free and clear home a bank acct with large sums in it and my mother who is one of his only two sisters living. He did not leave a will at all. My mom presently resides in the home and we have a host of relatives who are in belief that the money and property should be divided among them. I also understand that if this situation reaches probate court it can be a long drawn out process if our family don't reach an agreement to leave the property and everything to the living sisters.

To protect the assets fo the estate and make sure the heirs at law receive what is due them under the law, the estate must be probated. With only two sisters as heirs there should be no porblem with reaching an agreement. Call me at 423 266-48555 or 423 266-0199
