Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee
estate question
My mother, who is now deceased, owned a home with one of my sisters in TN. Can this sister sell or refinance this home without consulting myself or my other sister? Mom's will left everything to the three of us equally. Thank you.

It depends on whether or not she was appointed independent executrix in the will and if she needs to liquidate assets to settle the estate. However, you can always object to her actions in court.
