Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee
Husband is deceased and is obligated on mortgage. Both he and I are were on the Deed. Am I obligated on the Mortgage?

You are personally obligated on the mortgage note only if you are a party to that contract. However, the mortgage holder (lender) will have rights to the property based upon the deed of trust that secured the mortgage note and may have the right to foreclose (or take other action) if the note isn't paid.
