Inheritances
My husband is very ill and parents house and assets are in probate. He is to receive 1/3 of all assets. If he dies before probate is completed and funds are distributed, who gets his part of the inheritance? He has 3 grown children from a previous marriage and he has no will.

That will depend on his parent's will. The will will spell out how long he has to survive to inherit his share. If he does not have a will his spouse will have to share the ownership of his property with his children, but you will get at least 1/3rd. If it is possible it is extremely important for him to have a will.
