Minor's Trust Fund
If my daughter was in a car accident and she was hurt, the insurance company agrees to settle, does this money have to go into a trust fund? If so, why, and is there any way to receive some of it?

If the child is disabled or receiving government
benefits such as SSI, you would probably want to set up a special needs trust for the settlement proceeds from the car accident. This would allow the government benefits to continue being paid.
