Your claim must be filed with the appropriate clerk's office in the correct form within four months of the first newspaper publication of the notice to creditors following death. You file what is known as a Proof of Claim.

These forms are otentimes available in the

Clerk's Office. Once you file the Proof Of

Claim, the Estate has the right to object

to the claim. You need to be made aware of

the fact that you have a limited amount of

time to file the Proof Of Claim before it

is barred. You should contact an attorney

for the time schedules in your Court for

filing a Proof Of Claim.
