How do i get Power of attorney for mentally ill mother ?
I have mentally ill mother,That i already have medical conservatorship and am the social security payee,is now living in my home because she cannot take care of herself any longer. How do i get power of attorney over her assets and property ?

There are two types of Power of Attorney and it sounds like you need both of them. They are a Durable Power of Attorney for Financial Affairs and a Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care. They are not very expensive and can be prepared and notarized by a lawyer.
