Simultaneous Death
My father and step-mother died in a traffic accident. Am I correct in thinking that since they died simultaneously, his insurance goes to his estate and her insurance goes to her estate? Does T.C.A. 31-3-120 apply to this?

This would depend on whether the two individuals had successor beneficiaries stated on their policies. Absent that, the m oney would be paid to their respective estates.
