Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee

Unmarried and named over his estate

My domestic partner has named me as executor of his will. He gave me an acre of land and his 2 daughters get the rest of his property and assets. I pay over half of everything and have proof. I also claim him on my taxes, he is on disability. He has named me as the person to make decisions concerning his health. We are the same as married but not legally. He has a daughter whom does not approve of me and will give me the fight of her life, with the help of her bitter mother, if he passes. i will do as he wishes in the will, but how much power do I have if these 2 vindictave women fight me on his will? Also the x wife had my fellow draw up a trust before i met him and it left her the trustee with ungodly clauses that gave her everything and he ended that trust and took everything out of that trust and dissolved it. But do you see what I am up against. What are my rights with all of this?

thank you

Having a domestic partner myself, I sympathize with your situation. There are many ways to secure your position in his life. His family may put up a fight but if your partner has his papers in order, it should not be a problem. In order to give you a more definitive response, I or another atorney would have to review the paperwork that already exists.
