If next of kin is not mention in will can you file a claim in probate court?

Next of kin whose names are omitted from a will are not entitled to receive anything. There are a few exceptions, such as fraud, undue influence or duress or forgetting to name a child. But usually, kinfolk who are not named are not entitled. If you are the omitted kin and think one of the exceptions might apply, then gather all the documents you can and make an appointment with a local lawyer experienced in probate matters. Good luck.
