Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee

I have been left a house in my mothers will. also I am the executor.Is my next stepto the register the will. If so where do I go in Tenn. Also, will they tell me all I need to know of tranferring the title over. My bother was left a car, also need to know how to transfer his title.

You should start out by going to the county Courthouse and finding out which court does probate for that county. The Will needs to be probated because the probate process is what vests title to the house in your name. The Will alone does not do that. Have the Will probated.
