Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee
Wills
Im getting ready to go overseas to Iraq and am getting my will ready. Can I leave everything to my mom as she will be taking care of my son, without an option for my husband to contest it? I know if something does happen to me while Im overseas my husband can take care of himself but my son cant. Also my son is not my husbands. Also I own a home, do I have to put my husbands name on the deed or does he automatically get part ownership because we are married?

Re: Wills
If your husband is not the father of your child, you could leave everything to your mother in a Will or, if you have time, leave everything to your child in a Will containing a testamentary trust with your mother as the trustee.
