Wills across state lines

My husband and I had our wills written by an attorney in Tennessee but have now moved to Georgia, are they stiil legal?

Wills don't become invalid when you move to another State; however, one could not say whether your will is "valid" without reading it. It is impossible to comment on the validity of a document one has not seen.

If the wills were valid and properly executed under TN law, they should also be valid in GA. Any time you move to a new jurisdiction, however, it is advisable to review your documents with a competent estate planning attorney in your new State of residence.
