Gross Negligence exceptions

Does Tennessee workman's compensation law provide for a gross negligence exception so that you can sue your employer directly?

I need to know more facts about the case. generally, if an employer has wilfully or intentionally injured an employee (similar to gross negligence) then the employer can be sued in tort......please send me more facts....Bill Poland
