Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas
Stay married just to stay legal?
I have lived with a Mexican man for 1 yr. He is married (but obviously sep.) and wants to divorce, but is afraid because he only has his greencard. would divorce really cause him to be deported?

As long as he has his 10 year green card he will not be at risk of being deported due simply to a divorce. There may be other issues that may place him in removal proceedings but divorce is not among them.
