Can i cancel an alarm system contract that lied to me in order to get me to sign a contract for 5 years

With regards to the falsehood, it sounds like they misrepresented something to induce you into the contract. Such an action may be a violation of the Texas Deceptive Practices Act and you should google it and read over it. It will be very helpful for you.
