Legal Question in Disability Law in Texas

Disability

IF you know you were fired from your job because of a medical illness that is life long and does limit major life activities except medication controls the symptoms that limit the major life activities would this fall under ADA discrimination? I made my employer aware of my condition and ask for accomodations for reduced work hours. The agreed and accomodated me for about a month. We were shorthanded when they agreed to this. Then within this month they hired 3 new full time employees and fired me saying they could no longer accomodate me. Could I use ADA discrimination since I know that is why they fired me because they stated in writing they could no longer accommodate me. My condition is severe hypothyroidism and I have a doctors note not to work over 8 hours a day. I even passed out at work once. Thanks for your time!
