Can your employer force you out on short term disability
I were injured on my job 6/27/06 and return back to work 7/21/06 with restrictions from my doctor,the company gave me a position at work to perform with a helper while i was going threw rehab,later the following month 8/31/06,two of the company supervisor pull me to the side and told me my position were no longer needed and force me out on short term disabilty,my doctor didn't release me and i was still able to perform my job title,i were really upset about this and were force to settle for 60% pay instead of my regular 100% pay.To make matter worse i found out a week later while i was out of work the same helper were issue my position. Please help

It depends on the nature of your condition. If it is a permanent condition, then the employer may have violated the Americans with Disabilities Act. If it is not a permanent condition, then it is unlikely that the ADA was violated, but there may be some issue of state law for you to examine.
