Legal Question in Administrative Law in Texas
Someone hit my vehicle while it was parked and I witnessed it. The person who hit the vehicle begged for the authorities not to be contacted and wanted to pay for the damages but has not paid. He gave me his DL and contact information but still have had no success. Is there anything I can do?

Call the police and file an accident report with them. Tell them the person failed to give insurance information if he or she did not give it to you.
If you have the insurance information then file an insurance claim against his or her insurance. If you do not have the insurance information then file an uninsured motorist claim with your own insurer and let them work it out with the other person.
