Re: House Title
You might try calling your Building Department anonymously and asking if there are provisions in the code to get the building permitted retroactively.
This is all going to depend on how strict your local building codes are.
At a minimum they will probably ask you to tear out drywall sections to inspect the wiring and plumbing. They may also cite you for a building code violation and fine you. You may wish to ask if they have provisions to waive a violation for "self-reporting".
You might want to talk this over with a lawyer or at least talk to a contractor in your are who has dealt with the municipality and ask for some advice.
