Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
auto loan default
I had heart surgery 5 years ago and voluntarily surrendered my car to the lean holder. They send me a letter once a year that says they are going to sue me but don't. They will not pick up the car. How long can they hold me responsible for the debt and how can I get the car off of my property legally?
