I have filed for bankruptcy & in 2 weeks am going to a meeting of the creditors.I had an auto accident a few weeks ago & am in the process of finishing therapy & they are wanting me to settle. Re: bankruptcy conserning a personal liability suit
It depends on when you filed bankruptcy and when you had your auto accident. If the accident was after the bankrutpty was filed, then no problem.
But if you had the accident first, too bad. The Court has an interest in it. What has your Bankruptcy attorney told you?
