Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
I have been in bankruptcy for 4 years and is up in august of next year. I can no longer live in my home and would like to sell it. Can i sell the home and pay the bankruptcy off I live in Texas
My home is part of the bankruptcy.

you need to have an attorney review your bankruptcy docs it is hard to say without reading over them. remember not all attorneys charge for initial questions, and so shop around. If you do sell, discuss with your realtor your situation. Real estate commissions are negotiable, agents can list homes for less than the 3% commission and I know instances where they have taken a flat fee to list the property. It requires some research on your part and talking to people who have some experience in negotiations.
