Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
can we keep car and motorcycle
My husband and I are considering filing bankruptcy due to large credit debt. We have my car which has a loan, which I intend to keep. My question pertains to his vehicles. He has a Jeep which will be paid for in about 2 months, and a motorcycle which also has a loan against it. Will he be allowed to keep both as long as we can make the payments.

Short answer: Yes, if you are current on payments. I am assuming you will be filing a Chapter 7 case? If you are in the Fort Worth/Dallas area, contact me if you need help.
