Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
Chapter 13 to Chapter 7
I filed Chapter 13 Bankrupcy on March 3, 2003, to prevent foreclosure on my home due to deliquency on a home equity loan. Can I change to Chapter 7? If so, what type of reprocussions will this have on my home mortgage loan? I need to purchase a vehicle and was approved at my creditor's meeting by the trustee but can't get financing due to the Chapter 13 status.

Re: Chapter 13 to Chapter 7
I suggest you ask the attorney who represented you in your Chap 13. He/she would have the facts necessary to answer this question properly.
