How can we modify our Chapter 13 to include our cars?

The answer depends on a number of variables, such as the date of purchase of your cars, when you purchased your cars in relation to your bankruptcy filing, whether you are current or delinquent on the payments to the vehicle lienholders, etc. But, every modification requires a motion be filed and notice sent to all your creditors, giving them, and the trustee, an opportunity to object. This process takes approximately 30 days.
