Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
Are there any circumstances in which a bankruptcy meeting of creditors meeting can be missed. I have just been advised by my new employer that I can't miss work for any reason. Our attorney is stating that me & my husband have to attend or the bankruptcy will be dismissed?

You need to plan to be there at the meeting of creditors.
By the way, if it helps: Often your hearing will be set for 8:25 am, even though everybody (including your lawyer) knows that they won't get to your case until 1:00 pm. Ask your lawyer. Maybe you'll only have to miss a half a day.
Your boss is an idiot.
