Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
I have been dealing with a lawsuit over credit card debt since last summer as the defendant. The trial keeps getting canceled by the judge and the plaintiff keeps getting continuances granted with the fourth one recently granted. How long can this continue in Justice of the peace Court in Texas?

I have been dealing with a lawsuit over credit card debt You need to strenously object to the continuances. At the right time you can move to dismiss the case for unreasonable delay or failure to prosecute.
