How do I file for a bankruptcy....Looking for some inexpensive way, just divorced, many legal and medical bills, no work....Can I do it on my own or do I have to hire a lawyer or legal help???..How much does it cost?

Having handled many bankruptcies, I rarely recommend filing..Texas law on what creditors can recover is limited..and frequently, persons file merely to avoid phone calls...hence, call it we can help
I have been handling bankruptcy cases for 21 years. In my opinion you should not file on your own although it is possible. I am currently working on two cases where the clients started the case by filing on their own and so many problems developed that they had to hire me to fix the mistakes. We work with people all the time who have very little income and we set them up on a monthly payment plan to pay for their legal fees.
