Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
I want to file for chapter 7, but i have no job and a lawsuit pending, and probably will be getting a job in like 2 months.
So, if I file now, wil getting a job in 2 months interrupt the chapter 7 process?

Filing now is not a problem. In the Fifth Circuit, the Courts used to take a snap shot of your condition on the petition date. That is no longer the case.
Getting the job is not really the issue. It is really more of a function of how much you will be making.
