Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
I am filing bankruptcy and I owner financed a home. Can the buyer sue me for letting the house go? Also, the buyer is 5 months behind on their payments to me.

No, the underlying mortgage will be discharged (eliminated) as a result of the bankruptcy being successfully completed. At the same time you would list the buyer as a creditor and that exposure would also be discharged unless there was solid evidence that you had committed fraud with respect to the owner financing process.
