Filing Bankruptcy again in a different state
I filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in Connecticut 4 years ago. Can I file Chapter 7 again now in Texas? if not can i file any form of bankruptcy again right now here in texas?

No you may only receive a chapter 7 discharge once every 6 years.
You could file chapter 13 if you qualify.

You could not file another chapter 7 case but you are eligible to file a chapter 13 case. In a chapter 13 case you would repay a portion of your debts over a 3 to 5 year period. Please feel free to call me to discuss this in more detail. ph (214) 637-0713
