Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas
Increased Payroll withholding
I am so upset!! I just received notice from my trustee that my withholding amount is being increased to $620.00!! I am a single parent of three, one in college. I am a teacher!!! The part that reaaly bothers me is that I never received a letter from my lawyer. I don't see how I am going to survive. My lawyer is unapproachable and communicates if she sees fit by email or her secretary. Is there such a thing as pulling out of this thing? I don't see light at end of the tunnel. Please advise.

Re: Increased Payroll withholding
You generally have the option to either (1)modify your chapter 13 plan to reduce your payment, which may require you to surrender some secured collateral (2)convert your case to a chapter 7, or (3) dismiss your case altogether.
